Coloring Down The Lines -- Garden Green

Hi crafters.  It is another Coloring Down the Lines blog hop Wednesday, and you should have arrived from Liz's blogsite.  Love her card, did you?   Her site is always interesting.  Our challenge this week is another 2 color duo.  The colors are Garden Green and Wild Wasabi.  Real Irish colors they are, however St. Patrick's Day is over, so we are just a teeny bit late.

I used both the colors in cardstock and my Papaya Collage stamps.  Since one of the few colors of embossing powder that Stampin'Up! has is Wild Wasabi, I just had to use it.  That is Wild Wasabi on Wild Wasabi even though they look a little different.  I tried several things with that frame but the other choices did not work.  I tried to make a glassy frame with Glossy Accents, but it looked like one big mistake.  That try went in the trash.  Then I tried embossing with clear powder, and didn't like that either, another in the trash.  Usually I salvage the mistakes and make something or other, but this time my trash can has green paper it in.  Oh well.  Hope you like my take on the two colors for this week.

Now we can go to Teri's blogsite and see what wonderful creation she has for us.

Have a great day.

Crafty Hugs,
Sandy

Thanks, Carol. I used the frame stamp from Papaya Collage and inked it with VersaMark. Then I sprinkled Wild Wasabi embossing powder and heat embossed.

This looks so fresh and clean. You are a master of the fussy-cut! Glad you kept going! This one is definitely a keeper

this is a really pretty card, Sandy. I like how you cut out the leaves / flowers and put them strategically on the frame. love it!
