What a great weekend! I hope you all had a good one too. My grands came to visit last Wednesday and stayed until Sunday. My son, their dad, and his significant other joined us on Saturday. While the kids were here Grampa and I took them fishing, took walks, baked birthday and Easter cakes, colored Easter eggs, played games, and just had a grand time. I can't wait to do it again.
It is Wednesday and time for our hop. Liz's blogsite comes before mine, so you may have come from there. After me you should to to Robbie's blogsite.
Below is our inspiration piece and the colors. It is another beautiful spring combination and I had an idea what I wanted to do. It worked out pretty well. I hope you like it.
Have a great week. See you soon.

Color Hop Wednesday -- March 23, 2016
Hi Everyone. We have a full house today so it should be a good hop. If you are starting with me, then just keep going until you come all the way around. If you started somewhere else, then I'm glad you are here and you can continue until you get to the place you started. Liz's blogsite was before me if you want to go that way, or when you finish here you may continue forward to Robbie's blogsite. Either way, you are in for some treats today.
Below is our inspiration piece. Such pretty flowers. I can't wait until I see flowers starting to grow in my garden. I guess I better go plant some first, huh?! But the daffodils and crocus are out. So pretty. Our comparable Stampin'Up! colors are below also.
And here is the card I created using our colors for today. I just got a couple new stamp sets and they were still on my craft table. I just had to get them inky, as well as my fingers.
There is nothing fancy about this card. I used Grateful Bunch and Number of Years, a die and a little ribbon. I love the colors and tried to make it a bit girly. No sentiment yet, but I think that will go inside when I decide who is going to receive this one.
So continue on your way, but come back again soon
Happy Crafting,
Sandy

Color Blog Hop Wednesday -- March 16, 2016
Wow, this week has flown by. I have been really busy making things for a crafting event coming up this weekend. I'm almost finished with the make n takes and with my samples. I also have been spending some time with my grandkids, shopping for birthdays, and going to meetings. If you did not start this hop with me, then you probably came by way of Liz's blogsite. I just attended a demo meeting tonight with her and she showed me the card she did for this week. It sure is pretty. Lots of beautiful detail. Mine is very simple by comparison. Our colors are very pretty pinks with a little white and green.
I used the little Easter lamb for my main image. I left off the sentiment portion of the stamp so that I could use the card for something other than Easter. I don't usually send out Easter cards, so this may be a good one for a baby card. I'll add a sentiment when I decide what I am going to do with it.
You should continue your hop by heading over to Robbie's blogsite. I did not get a peek of her card yet, but hers are always gorgeous, so I am sure today's card is gorgeous too. I'll hop along with you now. Hope to see you back here soon.

Sandy

Color Blog Hop Wednesday -- March 9, 2015
Welcome back to another blog hop Wednesday. Did you arrive from Joni's blogsite today? She sure had something pretty, right? Our colors this week are springy again. I love them, and I love that spring is arriving. In fact, we have been having some summer weather. Who would have thought 60s and 70s in March in the mountains. Well, I'll take it.
Here is our inspiration piece, and also the colors.
And here is the card I created using our challenge colors today. I really like this card. It is simple, and yet cheery. I hope you like it too.
Now hop on to Robbie's blogsite and see another beautiful creation. I'll see you here again soon, I hope. Have a great day, and I hope you are enjoying some springlike weather too.
Happy Crafting,
Sandy

Color Blog Hop Wednesday -- March 2, 2016
Woo hooo, after last week's fiasco I am happy to say my life is somewhat back to normal, such that it is. I have my car back, my camera back, my card back, and my tools back. The best part is that the weather is beautiful and our bridge is no longer under water. Which means I can once again get out and about.
I am ready for this week's color blog hop. We have a small group today, however, we are still powerful. You may have come to me by way of Joni's blog. Her creations are awesome, and she is a hard act to follow. When you leave me you will continue to Robbie's blogsite. Her creations are awesome too. It is hard to be sandwiched between two such talented gals.
I'm not sure why, but I cannot load the inspiration piece this time. Everything gets jammed up. The colors work fine, so here they are:
This card started out with a Crumb Cake piece of paper and then..............................zip. I didn't quite know where to start. So I thought maybe butterflies. I cut out 3 colored butterflies. Hmmmm, what next. Maybe a little color. And that is how it went. Each step I stopped and tried to figure out where to go next. Eventually I ended up with this and am happy. Do you ever have that problem? You have no idea what you are going to do until you are finished and wonder where it came from? I like it. You might be able to see my new favorite embellishment -- clear Wink of Stella. Love that glitzy stuff!
So hop on now to Robbie's site, but come back soon.
Happy Crafting,
Sandy

And I am able to load my card just fine. Whew! For a minute there I had many problems and was afraid I would not get anything to work. But here it is:
