Color Blog Hop Wednesday -- September 16, 2015

Good day everyone.  You are back for another blog hop Wednesday.  We have some colors for you.  Oh boy, I couldn't quite see these colors, but I used them anyway.  Then my photo came out rather bland.  So, I apologize.  I'm going to try to set up some type of photo corner in my craft room with an OTT light.  Perhaps the colors will be more true.

I believe you have come to me from Liz's blogsite.  I haven't seen yet what she did this week.  I wonder if she managed flowers from these waffles.  Whatever she did, I'm sure it is great.  Our colors were Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Blackberry Bliss, Basic Black and Pear Pizzaz .  I wanted to do something with Halloween so I focused on the black and green.  At first I tried to work with Blackberry Bliss, but I really, really, had trouble with my ink pad.  In my opinion, Blackberry Bliss is always way to black for me so I always stamp off at least once.  No matter what I did this time my juicy ink pad kept filling in the lettering of the solid circle stamp in the Among the Branches set.  I soaked up some ink on the pad with tissue and I also left the pad open for about 8 hours, but still could not get an image with lettering.  So I changed the color to Pear Pizzaz.  Does anyone else have problems with Blackberry Bliss, or any other juicy pad for that matter.

Well, here is my card using the colors.  As I said, I don't think the colors are true in the photo.  I think it is rather nice in person.  I plan to use it for a Halloween card rather than a trash can card.  What do you think, is it a keeper?

So now you should hop to Robbie's blogsite.  I haven't seen her challenge yet either, but she is such a talented gal that I know once again it will be super.  So continue on now to Robbie's site.

See you again soon,
Sandy
