Hi everyone. I am back with another color challenge. Our colors for this week are below:
And the inspiration piece is here:
And last, here is the card I made from our inspiration.
Things have been really crazy around here the past several days, so I didn't get too complicated with my card. Mainly because I have been home only a couple hours out of the last four days and I couldn't spend much time. I do like this stamp set and will be sorry to see it go. I love the 2-steppin' -- sounds a little like country dancing. The stamps are beautiful, and the colors today just screamed at me to use this set.
You should have come to me from Liz's blogsite, where she created something special again. Next you will continue to Robbie's blogsite to see what she did, and I am sure it is great as always. I wonder what stamps cried out to her this week.
See you soon
Sandy

Color Blog Hop Wednesday -- April 22, 2015
Hi friends. Happy Wednesday. Are your ready for our blog hop? We are a little short today, but everyone still has something nice for you to see. Our colors today are:
And here is the inspiration piece. You should have arrived from Liz's blogsite. Nice use of colors on her part.
Now you should continue to Robbie's blogsite and back to the beginning. Robbie has a super card today. Go take a look. See you next time!
Happy crafting,
Sandy

Here is what I made this week. I used all the colors, but my card looks nothing like the inspiration piece. I just got the wonderful Sophisticated Serifs. I have been playing around with a monogram notecard. This is nothing like I envisioned because I don't plat to use these colors, but I gave it a try just for today.

Blog Hop Wednesday -- April 15, 2015
I love the gorgeous spring weather we are having, finally! I thought it would never get here. The pear trees in our front yard are blooming and so are the daffodils and Lenten Roses. I love it. Our inspiration piece today reminds me of the trees that are in bloom all around here. Such pretty colors.
The Stampin'Up! colors are listed below. I believe I used them all. I just can't see these pretty colors and not use flowers on my card. Next week I will make an effort to make something other than spring flowers.
You should have arrived at my blog from Liz's blogsite. I wonder how she did with these colors. I bet she has something very pretty and very springy. She has been outside working so I think flowers are on her mind. After you leave here you will continue to Robbie's blogsite. I think she has been focusing a lot on color and I am sure she will have something super pretty too.
This is my card and I hope you like it. I started with an idea, mainly the flowers and didn't have a vision other than those. So each thing on this card was added because I either needed another color or I thought it needed something here or there. I think it finally turned into something.
Have a great week, enjoy the outside. I hope your weather is as pretty as it is around here. A little rain is ok, but at least it is not white and fluffy.

Sandy

Color Hop Wednesday -- April 8, 2015
Happy spring everyone! I think it is finally here? Well, at least for a few days. I am sitting here with my doors and windows open and I love it.
Today we have a beautiful challenge. The colors are soft and spring like. I did have a little trouble getting started, but once I started I knew what I wanted. It turned out ok. I would like just a little more color in the flowers, but in person there is a hint of the orange, just enough to make it peachy.
You most likely came from Liz's blogsite. She told me she had difficulty getting going too, but I'm sure when I head over there it is going to be gorgeous, as usual.
And here is what I did.
Now, if you started with me, or even if you didn't, continue to Robbie's blogsite, where you will be at the start, or continue going around. Robbie has been working hard with colors and has done a wonderful job coming up with all sorts of color ideas. I'm sure her creation today is as beautiful as they always are.
Hope to see you soon.

Color Blog Hop -- April 1, 2015
Hi Friends. It is another color blog hop Wednesday. And it is April Fools' Day too! But I'm not fooling, we have some gorgeous colors today. They are bright, and very springlike. They are Very Vanilla, Daffodil Delight, Tangelo Twist, Rich Razzleberry, Wild Wasabi and Pistachio Pudding. Wow, do I love that purple in our inspiration piece. I don't think Stampin'Up! has one yet that comes close. It is so vibrant and packs such a punch. I hope when the new colors come out in June, this will be one of them.
Ok, so you probably arrived from Liz's blogsite, She is always hard to follow because she puts some real thought and effort into her creations. They are always super nice. Today is no exception.
I decided today to stray a bit from my usual cards. I love the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit. I've been making treat bags with cardstock, with designer paper, and I made one with the vellum paper in the Sale-a-bration paper stack. It is such fun to decorate the pouch and put a candy bar, or some other little gift in and give to someone. My grands each have something headed their way for Easter. This candy bar is for you -- can you taste it?
I hope you like today's treat, both the bag and the candy bar. Ha ha. Since I am last in the hop, you should now go back to the beginning to Robbie's blogsite, or continue around, whatever the case for you. Robbie sure has something special today. She has been working hard with her ideas, and she always amazes me with what she comes up with. So hop over there, and I will see you again soon.
Crafty Hugs,
Sandy
PS So what April Fools' jokes do you have planned today. I hope to hear what you have in mind.
