Coloring Down The Lines -- Basic Black with some type of metal

Happy Wednesday everyone.  It's blog hop Wednesday and we have great colors for you -- at least in my opinion.  You should have arrived from Liz's blogsite.  Beautiful.   Our main color this week is Basic Black.  And everything looks good with black.  We could use Smoky Slate and Bermuda Bay with Black OR Daffodil Delight and Old Olive with Black.  I chose Smoky Slate and Bermuda Bay.   Our added twist this week is to add metal in some form.  I chose to cut a soda can and use the Starburst thinlits to cut my piece of metal.

Once I cut the metal I started building and eventually ended up with what you see.  I used embossing, and various circle shapes.  The stamp set is Layered Labels, however, I didn't want the odd shape of the Create stamp, so I stamped it and then used a circle to cut it out.

I hope you like my creation this week.  I rather like this one and plan to do some more with metals in one form or another.   Now you should hop to Robbie's blogsite.  She starts us off, but if you began with me, continue to her and go all the way around back to me.

Until next time....................

Sandy

Sandy, great idea on a way to Change the shape of that stamp! Gives it a ton more versatility! Great take on the color challenge this week!
