Quick post today. We had some super storms over the weekend, and although we were lucky and most missed us, our internet connection keeps going in and out. We only lost power for a couple hours on Friday night, but we understand most of our state is still without power, as well as many areas of Virginia, DC and Maryland. I hope that all of you are safe, and that you were able to escape most of Mother Nature's fury.
So here is my post for today. I used the Aviary stamp set. I've been wanting to ink it up for some time, and finally did. I've already sent this card out and I don't remember exactly the colors of cardstock, but I think I was trying to use the new in colors, so I think they were Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple, as well as Summer Smooches designer paper. The embossing folder I used is Fancy Fan. I'm really beginning to like the extra interest that folder gives to any card. And, of course, I used several more punches and the very versatile Labels Collection Framelit set.
The inside is a couple more birds, some sponging and same with the envelope.
I hope everyone is safe and cool, and that you have a wonderful Fourth of July. We already had a picnic and fireworks this past weekend, so we'll be taking it easy this week. Hope you enjoy whatever it is you will be doing.
Be sure to come back this Wednesday for our continued Coloring Down the Lines blog hop that we do each week. We'll have another interesting color combination for you to see, and several great creations for you to hop to.
