Happy Wednesday. And happy spring! We are soon headed into May and I can't wait for the flowers. Hubby and I are driving up to Quebec City for 10 days where the weather is still late winter. So, just a little more cold temps and then I can put away my turtlenecks, my jacket, and bring out the sandals and T-shirts. Yaaaaaay!
But you are here for our color hop, so let's get to it. You most likely came from Liz's blogsite. Did she have a nice cards, or what. All the gals have great creations. When you leave here you should head on to Robbie's blogsite, where you will find something beauteous too. And keep going all the way around. We have a few more today.
Here is our inspiration piece and the colors:
And here is my interpretation. No umbrellas, but I thought balloons would look cheery like the inspiration piece. Oh, did everyone (well, demos anyway) see the umbrellas in the new catalog? Hmmmm, might have to have those.
I hope you like my card today. I'll be back from Canada in early May and ready to enjoy the warmth here in the States. And, I hope more of my flowers will be up, but I bet only the grass will be up. LOL. Have a great week.

Color Blog Hop Wednesday -- April 20, 2016
Hello again. Looks like it is Blog Hop Wednesday. I am having a great time working with spring flowers. And the weather is cooperating, because spring has finally arrived. In fact, I am starting to think perhaps summer is here. We had 89 degrees yesterday. Yikes! Well, no complaints here. I hope you are enjoying spring and good weather too.
Our inspiration piece today is a bunch of really pretty flowers. We had some daffodils in our yard that looked a lot like this. Alas, they are gone for another year. Our colors for today are listed below.
Here is the card I created from our inspiration. I saw a lot of flowers and so I made a bunch of flowers. It is pretty easy when you have a punch to just pop them out. In the centers of the flowers I used our gold dazzling details. I also used the edge die from the Botanical Builder die set.
For my demo friends out there, I believe by now you have seen the new catalog for next year. We'll be saying goodbye to this tea set, but have you seen all the beautiful replacements? Gorgeous new in-colors, great new stamp sets, and even more dies and accessories. I can't wait to get started. For my customers, it's coming soon. You are going to be so happy. As usual, when the retired product list comes out I am crushed by how many of "my babies" I will be losing. I don't quite lose them, though, because I keep most, just on a different shelf. But I am hurting a lot just looking at the long list this year. However, there are a lot of brand new replacements in the new catalog. I hope I get as attached to them as I did to the ones I'm losing. .
Well, back to our hop. You should have come to me from Liz's blogsite and now you can continue on to Robbie's blogsite. We have some super talented ladies in this group. I know you agree. So continue on, and come back soon.

March Paper Pumpkin -- Butterfly
So here is the first of a couple March Paper Pumpkin cards I did. I love the colors this month. There is not much of the dsp on this card. I used more on the other cards and I will try to post those soon. It is a very pretty design. The little sprig of flowers that I stamped to make background on the white of this card is going to be a favorite stamp of mine. It is such a pretty sprig. What I am finding from most of the PP kits is the beauty in all the small supporting stamps. I have been using a lot of them with other stamp sets. If you don't get the Paper Pumpkin, you should at least try it for a while. The stamps and the ink spot alone are worth the cost. Add to it some really gorgeous paper, all the extras like glue dots, dimensionals, twine, envelopes, etc., and you have a real bargain. This set also had the prettiest shade of green pearls. I am hoping that color is a tease of one of the new in colors. I didn't use those pearls on this card because I am being a little stingy, and also because there was so little other green that I thought white looked better here.
Well, here is my card. I hope to post a few more over the next few days.
Take care, and come back soon.
Happy Crafting,
Sandy

Color Blog Hop Wednesday -- April 13, 2016
We have a gorgeous inspiration piece today! Love the vivid red, and even the white is vivid. Watermelon Wonder is a pretty color to work with and I enjoyed playing with the dies. So off we go....you should have come from Liz's website. I wonder what stamps or dies she used. Often we think alike, which is scary, but fun. And when you finish looking here you should continue to Robbie's blogsite. I believe we have a bigger crew this week.
For my card I used the Botanical Builder dies. I find myself reaching for those flowers and/or leaves often. Somehow I feel these will carry over into our next annual catalog. If not, well I will be very upset. I may even mutiny and use them anyway. I also made use of the Curvy Corner Punch to add a little interest to the black. And you can't see, but I used -- you guessed it -- Wink of Stella on the little dots in the flower centers. WOS gives just a little shine here and there. I seem to be putting it here, there, and everywhere. I love it.
I had a card that I was going to put on my blog yesterday but just didn't get around to loading it. Perhaps I will just go for it now and set it up for tomorrow. We have been working on the Paper Pumpkin and I did a card that pulled together a little of what I saw others do, then I added a little here and there to make it my own. I did several cards with the PP so far, but most were following the directions or CASEing. Tomorrow I have a craft day and plan to use the kit to make several of my own. I loved this month and even bought an extra refill.
Head over to Robbie's now and see you soon.

Color Blog Hop Wednesday -- April 6, 2016
Hi Everyone. Well, winter has returned again. I'm not sure where all our nice weather went, but on Sunday we had snow, of all things. And it is cold again. I started putting away all my turtle necks, heavy socks, jackets, etc. And now I am pulling them all back out again. Ugh!
We have another springy looking inspiration piece today. That makes me feel just a little better and a teeny bit warmer, despite the rain in the picture. I can handle rain. We have a very small group today, I think winter got to them. You should have come from Joni's blogsite and when you leave here you should go to Robbie's blogsite.
Our colors are: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand, Smoky Slate, Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzaz.
Here is my card. I focused on Melon Mambo. The butterfly is done with Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzaz watercoloring. Then I used my favorite Wink of Stella. I was looking at a few of my recent cards and found that a major number of them have at least a little Wink of Stella. I love the shine and sparkle. Then I added some rhinestones and have enough sparkle to make me feel happy. I really like this card. I have to admit that I saw a card on someone's blog that was very like this, so it is not totally my idea. The colors and some of the extras are mine.
I hope you are having a good week and staying warm. Today I had my Paper Pumpkin club over to work on the March kit. Wow, what pretty colors. We had a great time working with the contents of the box and creating much more than what the directions say. Tomorrow, today if you are reading this on Wednesday, I am going to pick up my grandkids from school. I love when I get to do that. Sometimes it is a surprise and when it is I love to see their smiles.
Happy Crafting,
Sandy
