Coloring Down The Lines Blog Hop -- July 29, 2015

It's Wednesday.  That means it is time for our color blog hop.  Several of the gals are just back from Convention in Salt Lake City.  I'm hearing some great things about what they saw, but most of all about how much fun they had seeing one another again.  I sure wish I could have gone.  Oh well, next time.

Today we are challenged with the following inspiration piece and yummy colors.  What is it with all the food lately?  I love the pictures, and they make me hungry.  Raspberries are my favorite.

Well, I didn't do anything with food on my card, but I used the raspberry color.  Actually the color is Rose Red, which is one of my favorite reds.  I used some pool party designer paper from the Cherry On Top designer pack.  I think those packs are great.  They are so easy to carry around, yet have just what you need.

You should have arrived at my blogsite by coming from Liz's blogsite.  Sometimes she does her blogsite Tuesday night and I get to take a peek.  This time it is still a mystery, so I will have to go take a look, but I am sure it is super once again.  Now you should continue to Robbie's blogsite.  She just came back from Convention.  I wonder if she put something new to use.  In any event, her creation is always beautiful.

Hope to see you again soon.
Sandy

Color Blog Hop Wednesday -- July 22, 2015

Hi friends.  It's blog hop Wednesday, however, there aren't too many of us here.  It is also Convention week and everyone seems to have headed to Salt Lake City.  I'm home but the rest are either in SLC or out of town.  Robbie and Joni have pre-scheduled their creations, so the three of us are here.

Wow, we have some really vivid colors this week.  Here is the inspiration piece.

And here are the comparable Stampin'Up! colors.

This is the card I made using those bright colors.  I wanted something very cheery, and I love cheerful butterflies.  I have been using them a lot.  I guess I should find something else to work with.

You should have come to me from Joni's blogsite and now head on over to Robbie's blogsite.  I can't wait from them to get back from Convention and fill me in on all the fun they had.  And Thursday is the unveiling of the new Holiday Catalog, so I am anxiously waiting for that.

So, I hope you like our small hop today.  Next week we should have the crew back and ready to make up some special things.

Have a great day,
Sandy

Color Blog Hop Wednesday -- July 15, 2015

Hi everyone!   I'm back from vacation and glad to be here.  We had a great time in France, relaxed, did a lot of touristy things.  However, we caught colds from our grandchildren and so about that we are not so happy.  But we are on the mend now and happy to be home.  We love to travel but are always glad to come back home.

It is blog hop Wednesday, and you possibly have arrived from Liz's blogsite.  Although I was away, I did check the blog hop and saw her wonderful creations, as well as all the other ones from the other gals on this blog.  Liz has another great one today.  I love that technique.

Our colors are below the inspiration piece.  Lots of blues with splashes of yellow and orange.  These aren't exactly my favorite colors to work with, but hopefully I captured the idea somewhat.

Here is my creation.  I had a little trouble trying to figure out what to do.  I guess when you are away from the craft table for 3 weeks, it is a bit difficult to figure out where to start.  So I started simple.  I hope this works.

You should head on over to Robbie's blogsite.  I see that Robbie's site has a card made by her granddaughter, Zoie.  It is really cute, and well done.  What great fun for them to work together.  Robbie is the beginning, so if you started with her, then you are finished here.  If not, then continue around to her and see what she and the rest of the gals have this week.

Happy crafting,
Sandy
