Happy Wednesday, and happy 2015. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and that 2015 is going to be super.
It is time for our color challenge again, and this is the first one for our new year. My company finally left, the decorations are down, and I am ready to start paying attention to my craft room. It is a mess, but I'm working on it. This week we are challenged to use subtle colors. Here is our inspiration piece.
And here are the comparable Stampin'Up! colors.
My first thought with these colors was wedding. However, I didn't want to work on a winter wedding, so knowing I need some thank you cards, I decided on a winter thank you. Here is what I created.
The technique is embossing with white, and although the other color appears to be gray, actually I embossed with iredescent powder and this is the look I got. I hope you like my thank you note. Last week I received a nice box of new product from the Occasions mini and SAB brochure. I can't wait to get my finger into all that stuff. I hope you have fun deciding on the free things you want from the SAB brochure, and let me know if I can help.
You probably came to me by way of Liz's Blogsite. I know she has a beautiful creation. She keeps outdoing herself each week. She is a hard act to follow. Next you should continue to Robbie's Blogsite if that is not where you started. There is some real talent on her site too.
Hope to see you soon.
Happy crafting,
Sandy

Love your use of the colors!
I love this card Sandy. I need to play with those colors like you did.
