I'm back again for our Wednesday blog hop. We were given a picture today and asked to work with the coordinating Stampin'Up! colors. Robbie was nice enough to work up the corresponding SU colors. Although I used the colors given, I don't think there is as much yellow in my card. In any event, I had fun.
You should have arrived from Liz's blogsite. I spoke to her yesterday and she was still working, so I will be heading around the hop to see what everyone, including Liz, did this week.
Here is the inspiration piece and the coordinating SU colors:
And here is what I did with it. I used reinkers in Pear Pizzaz, Old Olive, and Tempting Turquoise on glossy cardstock. Then I punched butterflies from some of the left over pieces of paper. We were not given a specific added piece this week, just whatever we felt like doing. So I decided to add homemade ribbon. I used a piece of SU Organza ribbon and colored it with an Old Olive marker. There is a lot of turquoise showing on my card. If I could do it over again I think I would add several drops of Daffodil Delight to make it more like the inspiration piece. But I do like the blues and greens too. Hope you like it.
Now continue hopping to Robbie's blogsite. If you started with her, then you have reached the end. If you started with me, keep going to see what everyone else has done.
Until next time.....................
Crafty Hugs,
Sandy
