Coloring Down the Lines -- Pistachio Pudding with a Button

Hi All---
I'm on the road again.  This time we are driving through all these horrendous rain storms to Florida for my husband's high school reunion.  If our car doesn't float away, we'll be back on Monday.

In the meantime, you are here for the Wednesday color blog hop.  You should have arrived from Liz's blogsite, where she did yet another wonderful creation.  Whenever we talk, she tells me what she is up to, and I know she spends some time thinking and creating.

We are challenged this week to use Pistachio Pudding with either Baked Brown Sugar and Crisp Cantaloupe OR with Smoky Slate and Strawberry Slush.  I used the later.  The extra for this week is to use a button.  I used a clear button with baker's twine.  The Washi Tape I made by using one of the tapes from the Christmas collection and stamped the dots for the Watercolor stamp set in Strawberry Slush.   I hope you like what I did with the challenge.

Now you should hop to Robbie's blogsite.  Robbie starts the lineup, but if you began here, you can continue to her and keep on going all the way around.

Until next time................

Coloring Down The Lines -- Crumb Cake with Lace

Hi Everyone.  Would you believe, I'm finally back.  We had 3 wonderful weeks of vacation in Norway.  Walking, flying, and cruising.  It was a great time.  But I will tell you about that another time when I have pictures to show you.  For today, we are doing our usual Wednesday Color blog hop.  I have been missing in action for several weeks.  My mojo has taken additional days vacation.  I had a hard time trying to figure out where my "toys" were and how to use them.

Well, here goes ---  we are challenged to use Crumb Cake with either Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron OR Cajun Craze and Garden Green.  I chose the first.  And the added twist this week is to add lace.  I don't have any ribbon lace, nor do I have any lace dresses I could cut from.  So I chose the SU lace style sticky strip.  Of course, to me lace goes with pinks and grays and whites, certainly a lot better than with orange.  Hmmmm......

You should have arrived to my blog by way of Liz's blog.  I bet she figured it all out and has something really pretty, and lacy.  And now you should continue on to Robbie's site, where it all begins.  Robbie always has very special creations.  I've been missing my friends.  I was able to look at their sites some, but I didn't have internet access every day on our journey.

So come back again.  I hope to get back in the swing soon.  The first four days after we returned we had my grands for a visit, and the last three days I have been working hard on our vacation scrapbook.  I have the first 5 days finished -- whoo hoo!  Since there were 19 days, I think I have a long way to go.  I'm trying to use the Project Life system, hoping I will get it finished before the next century.  And what appropriate timing, Stampin'Up! has partnered with Becky Higgins at Project Life, so if I can hurry and get some of our SU product for this scrapbook, I'll be ready for showing on my blog and showing my customers.  I hope to have a few vacation pictures and some scrapbook pages for you soon.

Until next time..............................
